Why it exists
News apps and social feeds are good at offering one more thing to look at. Mochi starts somewhere else: keep the music playing, make the useful bit brief, show the reporting behind it, then get out of the way.
What the MVP is testing
The current product is testing whether personal radio can feel calmer and more useful than another feed. It combines Spotify Premium through a listener-controlled developer app, visible YouTube playback or local files with short news and weather breaks shaped by a listener’s dial.
Mochi is not a broadcaster, news publisher, music service or general AI assistant. It is a browser-based listening layer over services the listener chooses.
Independent and unaffiliated
Mochi is an independent project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify, YouTube, OpenAI, Open-Meteo, Cloudflare or the publishers linked in a bulletin. Those services retain their own names, interfaces and policies.
Contact
Mochi is still a private MVP and does not yet publish a support, privacy or corrections address. That is a real launch gap, not something this page will disguise. A monitored public contact route is required before the product opens to a wider audience.
